It depends on your health goal. If you intend to build muscles like a body builder, you should consume around 2 grams per kg of your body weight – i.e. around 150 grams, if your weight is 70-75 kg. If you are looking to have an athletic and fit body, the optimal amount is around 1.5 grams per kg of your body weight – i.e. around 100 grams, if your weight is 70-75 kg. If you have a sedentary lifestyle, the ideal amount is around 0.8 to 1 grams per kg of your body weight – i.e. around 60 to 70 grams, if your weight is 70-75 kg.
