Egg – On an average, an egg contains around 6 grams of protein, almost evenly distributed between white and yolk (slightly skewed towards white). Fish – All varieties are protein-rich, with some varieties like Salmon containing protein up to 20 grams. Chicken Breast – Around 40 grams of protein. Dry Fruits, Nuts and Seeds like Almonds, Peanuts, Pumpkin Seeds, Sunflower Seeds, Flax seeds, Chia Seeds. Oats – One cup of oats has around 10 grams of protein content. Other popular sources include Greek Yogurt, Milk, Quinoa, Soybean, Cottage Cheese, lentils and pulses. As is clearly evident, plant-based protein sources are abundantly available.
